Amul Butter Vanilla SPONGE CAKE? It's Easy with this Recipe

Amul Butter Vanilla Sponge Cake is a deliciously moist, spongy, tender, and heart-filling lightweight dessert, which is a combination of Vanilla flavor with a generous quantity of Amul Butter. This cake is perfect for everyday baking and occasions.


Delicacy: Amul Butter Sponge Cake

Cuisine: General, Indian.
Yield: 4 persons.
Preparation time: 30 minutes.
Cooking time: 40 minutes (including oven pre-heating time).
Course: Dessert.


Ingredients:
  • 200 grams of butter.
  • 200 grams of refined flour / self-raising flour.
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar.
  • 5 eggs.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence.
  • 1 cup of milk.
  • Baking powder.
Preparation Method:

Step-01:
Separate the yolk and egg whites.

Step-02:
Use a beater and separately beat the yolk and egg whites till foamy.

Step-03:
In a mixing bowl, take 200 grams of semi-solid butter and 200 grams of powdered sugar and blend it using the cake beater.

Step-04:
Add the foamy egg white little by little and keep beating till all the egg white is blended with the mixture in step-03.

Step-05:
Sieve in the flour along with the baking powder and add it to the mixture in step-04, while still beating the mixture and adding the egg yolk.

Step-06:
Once the beating/blending of the mixture is complete add 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.

Step-07:
Once all done, add milk little by little and beat the batter till flowing consistency (if you think 1 cup is more then add less).

Step-08:
Beat the batter for more 5 to 7 minutes and keep it aside.

Step-09:
Grease a baking tin with butter on all sides and dust some flour on it, pat it to remove excess flour.

Step-10:
Pour the batter (from step-08) in the cake baking mould tin (from step-09) to cover only 3/4 of the tin as the cake needs space to rise.

Step-11:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes and then place the cake baking tin inside the oven and bake it for 30 minutes, keep checking if it is baking consistently by pricking in a toothpick and if the toothpick comes out clean the cake is ready.

Step-12:
Remove from oven, cool, and then detin, cut into slices, and it's ready to serve.
