The CHICKEN PAKODA RECIPE That Wins Customers
Synopsis:
Chicken
Pakoda, The name Pakoda is derived from Sanskrit word pakvavaá¹a, a
mix of pakva ('cooked') and vaá¹a ('a small lump'). Pakoda is also known by
many other names as, pakora, pakodi, pikora, bhajiya, fakkura, bhajji, bhaji, or
ponako across the country. Pakoda is an oil-fried snack (fritter),
originating from the India subcontinent and it is a very popular street snack
in India.
Ingredients:
Chicken
Pieces - 1/2 Kg boneless
Oil
- 2 tablespoon
Cumin
powder - 1 teaspoon
Green
Chillies - 2 no's chopped
Onion
- 1 no's chopped
Ginger-Garlic
paste - 1 teaspoon each
Vinegar
- 2 teaspoon
Curd/yogurt
- 1 cup
Lime
juice - 1 teaspoon
Salt
to taste
Preparation
Method:
Step-01:
Blend
all ingredients except chicken in the blender till smooth paste.
Step-02:
Marinate
the chicken pieces with the blended mixture/paste.
Step-03:
Refrigerate
it for 1 hour, then put the chicken in batter.
Step-04:
Deep
fry it until its color changes to golden brown Condiments.
Enjoy Chicken Pakora (Pakoda) with mint chutney or tomato
ketchup.
